By submitting this application, Parents (on behalf of the students) and Franchisees agree to all the conditions of the “Parent Consent Form”, Including indemnifying UCMAS competition.
Your child automatically gets enrolled into the National Competition besides the Regional Competition and thereby increasing the opportunity of winning.
Regular classes will be conducted as normal and there will be no compromise in the conduct of the class and the level progress. To ascertain your child’s progress in the competition only one practice will be conducted during the class time and rest of the practice needs to be done at home or register your child for the FREE extra guided practice offered by UCMAS Ottawa locations outside the class hours(please refer the date and time displayed at the centre for extra practice).
COMPETITION FEES ONCE PAID IS NOT REFUNDABLE.
The last date for registration for parents is 30^th April 2026
Late fee of $10 will be charged if the registration is done after the deadline of 30^th April 2026 (1^st to 10^th May 2026)
No application will be accepted after 10^th May 2026
Conduct and Evaluation of the Competition papers is done by UCMAS Canada (Head Office Official)
As a policy Individual scores / marks will not be shared with anyone to avoid any kind of comparison and needless resentment.
Parents can request a re-assessment if needed at fee of $25/-

*Note: Visual Competition: All Categories can be attempted either mentally or using abacus or both.

Parent Consent

I/We,(name of parent) hereby give my consent for my son / daughterto participate in the above mentioned competition.I/We agree that though the organizer will make every reasonable effort within their scope of duties to ensure safety and well-being of my child, I/we realize that even under close supervision, children may have occasional accidents. Therefore, we hereby release for indemnity and hold UCMAS Canada INC., its franchisee and employees harmless from any and all claims, damages or other liabilities for injuries to my child which are notresult of direct negligence of the staff.

I/We further agree that in spite of being extremely careful and vigilant about the quality of PA and audio/video system for the listening/flash competition there might be certain uncontrollable disturbances in the audio or video output and we hereby release for indemnity and hold UCMAS free from any responsibilities caused due to such uncontrollable circumstances.We grant permission to the organizers of the event to use photographs and visual recordings of my child taken in this event, provided that no identification (name or address) will be used unless explicitly authorized.
